Ok, the only reason I was asking was because the nurse asked if I was at work. She said to stay OFF of my feet and take it easy today. She called it pelvic rest.

You'll be ok drive . They just dont want you be standing up or anything for long periods of time.

I get what you're saying, when driving a manual, you have to shift, and your hips and legs move, etc and you're nervous because the nurse told you to kind lay down and rest today. I think you'll be alright, but if you're at all nervous, call the super shuttle or see if a friend can help. I'm sorry you're still bleeding and cramping though. Hopefully it stops soon!

That's what I was on both times. I couldn't go anywhere but doctor's appointments.

No, generally I wouldn't care. I just didn't know if all of the shifting would cause any kind of problems. Our car has a stiff clutch and is not the easiest thing to push down. I can drive it fine, but seeing as I was told to stay off of my feet and take it easy I was asking if it would be ok.

It has nothing to do with a problem driving.

Have you driven a stick shift before? lol. Not on your feet, but certainly picking up your legs, using your muscles, hips, etc. It's like a full body process. ha ha ha ha ha.

I think she assumed she was supposed to lay down and rest, and driving a shift stick... in traffic... is hell.

Thank you. Good grief it seems you're the only person who is seeing my point. Either way I'm going to go get him, I just wanted opinions on if it was OK.

No, actually the problem here is not understanding the difference between "pelvic rest" and "bed rest".

Could be... I honestly didnt know the difference either. I've been lucky enough to not have any issues, but I guess I know now.
