preterm or just some BH....?

ok so no one really knows my story so ill kinda sum it up and get to my question. lol
So i have 2 kids 1 boy 1 girl my boy i went into preterm labor at 6 & 7 mo and had him at 8. my daughter had her 5 days before my EDD so that was fine and so was my son he came right home with me w no problems. me and my daughter had to stay for 3 days she had really bad jaundice (sp?).. anyways my SO is in rehab right now he comes home next wednesday. he has been gone for 51 days and i have seen him 4 times since he has gone 2 times there 2 times here at home. anyways he had a dr appointment yesterday so i picked him up from BFE and we spent the day together.so i havent been having sex for almost 2 months .. well we had sex like 5-6 times and the last 2 times i got contractions that were super tight and all the way around,also not so comfortable. well the first time they went away then the second time i got them they were every 2 min for like half hr 45 min. they went away when i got up and went and sat in the warm bath.. then after that since last night ive been getting them off and on, some are a little painful but barely and none are really close together. (been haveing some super mild cramps too) the dr wanted me to go in last night but they stopped so i didnt go in... if it was labor wouldnt it have not stopped? so labor or BH..? and should i have still gone in to L&D?

Honestly sounds like BH to me. Sex is prolly what brought it on.

You should probably take your doctor's advice and go in. I've always been told that if you have more than 4 in an hour before 36 weeks you need to be checked out.

Labor will become worse as it progresses and it will Not Stop!

On a second note I would refrain from to much sex/ or sex w/ orgasm if you have already experienced! It is also not uncommon for the uterus to contract or for us to have some cramping after intercourse! W/ my 3 rd pregnancy I could not have sex at all @ 5 months I was admitted for having contractions 5 min a-part Luckily Fluids put them at ease!! I also, had sex @ the end of my pregnancy and she was i indeed born w/in 12 of intercourse! That was the only pregnancy I had that advantage!!

ill ask the dr dec 5 at my appointment but i do not want the shot again that stops labor that smurf sucks and scared me with my first ...

Talk to your doctor about magnesium supplementation. Magnesium can stop and prevent preterm contractions.

Braxton Hicks for sure.. I had sex with my s/o only once in the past month, and my stomach was VERY hard. I felt contractions for 40ish seconds, every 3 mins for 30 mins after we had intercourse.

i tohought so but with me history of preterm labor in the past i worry alot and would rather be safe then sorry!!
