Since you still have 2 months most likely just keep eye on it. And make sure it doesnt get low and give you antibotics in mean time. If you were closer to your due date then they would induce you from what I understand.

I just called and she said that the last time they checked when I mentioned I was having discharge they used some sort of paper...turns out that its always accurate! Now they want me to go to the hospital and get checked cuz they have a different way of doing it! Now she is worried it's been leaking since Saturday when I was last checked???

Well I hope it isnt your water and its something else. But I agree going to the hospital get checked is best thing do. I wouldnt risk anything , and atleast there they can give you antibotics and everything that way your baby doesnt get infection.

I have 6 weeks left. I have had several complications and was just put on bedrest last week. The passed couple of days, my contractions have been anywhere from 5 minutes apart to 15 minutes apart, and that's when I noticed the sweet smell when I pee. So it just makes me wonder.

You're so close to your due date that I wouldn't worry too much about a slow leak like that. If you're leaking, they'll most likely keep an eye on it and see how quickly you're leaking and if you're dilated. Obviously they prefer you to go into labor on your own, but if it gets too low, they'll induce you. Even if you've been slow leaking since Saturday, it doesn't seem like you've been leaking enough to be concerned about your baby. I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck!

I would definitely call your midwife/ob/doula and ask. I sprung a slightly bigger leak at 34 weeks. Mine was slowly flowing onto my panties and when I smelled them, they smelled like bleach. I went and got checked that day and they sent me to the hospital to be induced. As soon as the door clicked closed behind the nurse so I could change into a gown, my water broke all over my clothes. And if you're on bed rest and having contractions, I would definitely call them and ask to get checked. Good luck!

I had a full rupture with my first and that was everything they show on tv. Exploding water shooting out of my girly parts that i couldn't stop. With my 3rd living baby, i developed a slow leak somewhere between 36weeks and the day they induced me. Because I dilate so early, it's not a big shock that i was leaking fluid. Anyway, they typically like to induce if you're leaking because of the risk of infection. For me, since they didn't know until they swabbed me when i went in to get induced anyway, they gave me a huge dose of antibiotics during labor and I ended up with an emergency c-section (it was a vbac, so c-section was always a possibility anyway) because they weren't really sure what was going on in there. My son ended up going to the NICU for a couple of days so that he could get a few days of IV antibiotics and some breathing assistance.

It made things a little more dramatic, but long term he was fine. No lasting issues from my water breaking early. Good luck! I hope they figure out what's going on.

Been having the same issue n just spoke to my ob n she told me the same thing to go into triage to be checked...but also.moved my next apntmnt from 12/11 to next thursday @11am...i wont be able to get to the hsptl until later tonight/tmrw noone to watch my daughters while I go...so now cant do anything until then...blahhh

OK, so get this: I call my OB office, no doctor in today. Call the Women's Center at the hospital and every room including the triage room is occupied. . . What do I do now?

How bad is the leak? Is it only when you pee or slightly worse? I hope you make it in sooner rather than later.
