But heels themselves alter the body so I can see her point. These women want to wear heels comfortably. Heels are usually worn to enhance a woman's posture, butt and halves. Still WEIRD though! lol

But to achieve that you HAVE to be in the shoes. So if you wear any other type of shoes, or no shoes, then you have zero benefit from the risk. That's why I see it differently I guess. You're altering your body to be able to wear something ELSE in hopes that that other thing makes you look different? I just don't get it. Doesn't make it wrong, it means I don't get it. lol

Cutting off toes to fit into high heels is extreme to me. Too extreme.

I have contemplated getting a nose job, skin procedures and a breast lift but that is it.

Maybe I don't get it because I don't wear heels. At all. And my husband has HORRIBLE feet, so I go, if your feet work why mess with them!!? They're important!? Not to mention aren't heels bad for you anyways? So you mess with your feet so you can wear heels that are bad for your body!?

I just. . .. I don't get it. I probably never will. Again, people can do whatever they want and I don't look down on them, but I just can't at all understand that logic.

I don't get loving heels THAT much but I do get that some people are obsessed with stuff and will go to any lengths for it. lol Some women get boob jobs for reasons that are ok but then you get the ones that have an obsession with them. I think this is similar. They obsess with heels and the body transformation they get from them so they will do anything to make it easier to achieve.

i worked at a resturant about a year ago and we had this nice lady always come in with high heels and i always noticed bandages on her feet and i asked her why and she told me cause of her high heels and i told her why doesnt she wear more comfrable shoes and she just looked at me like i was crazy...i just to get it why wear them if your going to get blisters or have what happened to my cousin walk on the sidewalk take a step down from a crub have your heel brake twist your ankle have have it break..

The only time I would have something that extreme done is if it were causing me health issues.

I didn't read it all but damn. Why not just buy bigger shoes?

Smurf no. I can't even walk in heals anyways, I would never ever consider chopping off a toe unless it was completely necessary for medical reasons  

The only kind of cosmetic surgery I would do is anything to get my teeth fixed. My mouth is a train wreck.
