re: Too big?

posted 20th Nov
When I got pregnant with my third child My secound was only four months old. It seemed I got bigger faster. But I believe there is no right size . Everyone gains and shows differently. And every pregnancy is different. I am now pregnant with my fourth a girl after four boys and am carring completely different.

I am with you on this one... Same here 3rd time around and people have been asking me since the beginning if it's twins... It's not...
I was told that alot of times your body will just start adjusting to "what is to come" if you have already had at least one child.

I think it's the shirt making you look bigger. Horizontal stripes make you look bigger than you are.

For what others are saying, just ignore them ;). I am at 21wks with my 3rd child and I am showing about like I did with my 1st. On my 2nd pregnancy I was huge, looked like I was carrying twins, the OB said that I had extra fluid. There was no cause for it and no complications other than her being worried if my water broke at home the rush of fluid could cause the cord to wrap around the baby. Because of the extra fluid pushing the uterus I went into labor 4 wks early (2wks before they were going to induce due to babies size). She said that the uterus will automatically go into labor if reaches a certain point, the reason why some with twins go into labor early. The morning I started having contractions she sent me straight to the hospital, induced me and broke my water. It was a massive amount and more than she had ever seen but no problems other than them having to change me, the bedding, clean the floor and the OB & nurse getting all wet too  .

I wouldn't be to worried about it since there aren't major complications but you know your body and if you think it is on the larger size then just ask the OB.
