A thread or anything on here for women that have pcos? Or even anyone online now that has it and has gotten an iud, did it work out good for you? Im getting the mirena and Ive heard good and bad from ladies that have no issues with their periods but Im just terrified its going to make me bleed nonstop. I know its one of those things were its different for everyone but I dont know, it freaks me out thinking about it. Ive gotten pregnant on 2 different bc pills so Im done taking them for nothing, I tried the latch and got bad side effects from it, and I refuse to do the shot. So iud it is.

the only thing i can say that was good about it was i didn't get pregnant and had like one period in 12 months, otherwise HORRIBLE! I got PID so bad they thought that the amount of scar tissue would affect me getting pregnant ever again. I gained 75 lbs in a year ( lost 30 within two weeks of it being taken out ) and was hospitalized because i couldnt even see due to migrains.

Holy crap that does not sound pleasant!

No, I was miserable! They didn't even find the infection until it was taken out, so I had it for at least 7-8 months.
