possibly wrong due date ? ?

so as a first time mom i signed up to all these pregnant websites (which i don't even use) except this one..for some reason what to expect when your expecting website say's im in week 37 which according to my doc i am 36 weeks day 3

could it be that im a week off my actual due date??
wondering if any of you have had this issue

You're IN your 37th week. No, your Doctor is not wrong and your due date is not off. Due dates are estimates anyway, they can be off by a few weeks.

It's only a week difference. It's no biggie. If you had an early ultrasound go by that estimated due date

that's what confuses me i know i wrapped up my 36th week and now im on 37 weeks..but your right guess im just anxious for my baby to come out

It's all estimates anyway. They can be off by two weeks in either direction. No worries. A difference of 4 days is nothing to even be concerned about.

Go with what your doctor is going by

according to this site i was due on saturday, according to my dr i was due yestarday, when all else fails stick to what your dr says because if you have to get induced, and when you do go into labor they follow their calculations anyways

I have one doctor telling me April 30th and another telling me May 8th so I guess as they say it can vary!

Due dates are basically a rough estimate, with my 1st my due date changed 3 times, what I've learned since... Early ultrasound gives the best estimate of how far you really are, and even the most educated person can not predict when baby comes, they come when they're ready, I'm 36 weeks today with my 5th trust me I know all about being anxious, but baby will come when he/she is ready to enter the world
