Ovarian Cyst?

My doc did a pelvic sweep and an ultra sound yesterday to see what was going on, well they told me everything appeared to be within normal limits except that there was fluid in my uterus. She said there were two things that can cause that, an infection or a ruptured cyst.

Friday night my husband and I had sex and during it was extremely painful, well when it was over I was hurting on my right side so bad, when I went to clean off a bunch of pea sized blood clots came out. I continued to hurt up until Sunday evening when finally it tapered off. From the way doc explained what a ruptured cyst feels like I defiantly believe that's what I had because I usually can tell when I have an infection.

Have any of you had ovarian cysts rupture before? What did the pain feel like and how long did it last? Was it anything like I explained? Do these things come back? And can they be dangerous in any way?

Ive had a rupture cysts a few times.. For me it wasnt nernas bad as they all said it would be. Some girls were on cruches.. I just felt aching and pjinching and discomfort... Even pushing aroudn the area.


Since ivd had kids i still ahve cysts but theydont seem to bother me like they did when i was a teenager. Every US ive ever had i had a coupld cysts on my ovaries

Shew, well you seem lucky there. Especially if you've went through it a few times and never had that much pain. I was about to go the er that night when it happened it hurt so bad. And you say now that you have kids they dont bother you now? I've never had problems with cysts till now, well till my son was born I have had the worst womanly issues!

I have a friend who is dealing with this right now. She just found out she has her second cyst shes had in a month. This one is bigger than the last one. She hasher good and bad moments. I was with her when the first one ruptured. She was laughing with me and then just doubled over and slid off the couch in tears. I ran her to the er and they said she had a ruptured cyst.

Well I hope they don't keep getting worse for her :/ I tell ya being a women is really no fun at all. It's like we don't get a break from pain... EVER.

Yeah when i had the first US as a teen to see why i was having these pains i had 4 cysts 2 on each ovary.. One on my left ovary was lie 4cm and the other one was a "ruputered" cyst. They seemed surprised thati wasnt in agony either.. Lol i guess i am lucky there,

exactly my thoughts when you said you had a few rupture and you didn't have much pain! I wish I were that lucky. It just felt like my ovary was in a vice for like two days! Sometimes I wish I were born a man haha.
