Feel like i'm losing it ...

So a little back story:
I found out today that an ex and good friend of mine was murdered on the 14th in front of his 6 year old daughter. I have been a wreck all day, and earlier when taking SO to work, on the way back i had to pull over because i was crying so hard because a commercial came on the radio and made me think of him. I'm crying as i write this. How can i possibly get over this? It doesn't help that i love his little girl like my own, and since they are from Virginia, once CPS releases her to her grandma, they'll go back there. I want to see her before they leave, since they have no connection up here, but i couldn't do it without bawling the whole time. I just feel like complete smurf.

I'm sorry sweetie.   you will probably be stronger than u think in front of her. You should go see her. It will help.

I know i couldn't. And she was pretty close to me and my dad. I kinda feel like it would make it even harder on her to see us.

It might be comforting. You never know. But if she's fonna Harry be uprooted and just lost her father she really could probably use a familiar face and a big hug. Even if you all do cry. She needs To know she's loved.

I'm debating if i do or not. Cuz i know i'll be a wreck. Hopefully, we'll be able to keep in touch with her.

I think you should see her because just think you say that you will be a wreck, but how do you think she probably feels and if your close to her like you say you are then she needs you.
