It definitely depends on the dog. Some big dogs can be mean.

My girls are far from gentle with our dog lol. However she is very gentle with them and us.

Pugs are so cute, lol. They look like smushed frogs. We didn't really have many toy fox terriers, but I know that they're pretty high-energy on average.

I agree. Not a fan of little dogs. Not to say that they are all bad, but my friends Chihuahua has gotten horrible with age.To the point where she wants to get rid of him because they have 2 young children.

I'm a big pit bull fan, as they have a great ranking on the temperament testing and are known to be great with children

with any dog though, I think it depends on how it was raised, if you are set on a chiauhaha, maybe get one that is a couple years old or one that has been around kids? That way you know it's personality. Otherwise just do some research about what breeds are good with children and rank good in temperament testing.
