I hate that....

I'm still on SO's 2nd shift schedule. For the past 10 months I've taught my body to stay awake till 11pm to stay up for when he gets home and then stay up later to hangout with him. Now that he's on 1st shift I'm wide awake right now and he is sound asleep for work in the morning! Grrrrr! Not to mention I'm horny as hell cuz he was too tired to do the dirty tonight! Merp.

I can't sleep and I have an anatomy test at 11:30.

my SO worked 3pm-2am and then started working 6a-4p and i got crazy messed up im stuck with insomnia

Been in this exact position before. Hopefully your sleep schedule is fixed soon and you get some =]

now THAT would be lovely! lol he's going to be tired as smurf this whole week adjusting to this new schedule.

DH works 3PM-1:30AM and has since the week our son has been born. It sucks because before when I was pregnant and we were dating, he worked 1:30-9:30PM and it was a lot easier for me to be on the same schedule as him...I even went to evening school 5-10PM while he was at work. Once he went to the 3PM-1:30AM shift, I didn't stay on "his schedule". I ended up doing my own schedule and being that we have a little one, I needed to stay on a somewhat normal schedule for the little guy. I miss having that time with him at night, but it's what's best. Now, we spend the mornings together for a bit before he goes off to work (unless I work a morning shift). I can witness, it's tough not seeing DH as much as we'd like, but it might be best you try switching your schedule up a little so you get more rest.

PS: I know the whole sex thing sucks too. He's ALWAYS too busy or too tired during the week and then come weekend, I work a lot. So both of us like never get it. It's happened once since May.
