Pooping

posted 20th Nov
My son was born Saturday night at 10:42. I am worried because he has only pooped twice today and I have fed him multiple times. I know he is getting milk bc I am breast feeding and while he is feeding I cramp up (which the doctor said is right) should I be worried about his lack of pooping? He last pooped at 1 o'clock this afternoon and it is now midnight

Edit: he farts A LOT ...but no poop

That's normal. Some bf babies poop each time they're fed some don't poop for a week.

Every baby is different. If he goes longer than 3 or 4 days then call the dr or if he seems like he might be in pain

As long as the poop is normal color and consistency I wouldn't worry.
