Armpit tempature reading.

Okay so here in Alaska we have a stomach bug going around. I think my little one caught it, she was fine until she woke up from her nap. About 2 hrs ago I took her temp by arimpit it was a 98.8 and just took it again and its a 100.4, you add one full degree for arm pit temps right? I would have used a recital thermometer its missing. Help!

Yep for any temp taking under the age of 2 (i believe) other than rectal add a degree.
