From my knowledge, no. He would have to find someone to take the kids and he would have to stay in the barracks if he couldn't provide other housing for himself and the kids. The only way they can make the wife leave is if he divorced her

He as well has legal guardianship of the niece so he could take her as well. I don't know how that would work if they divorced though.

it really depends on how the whole custody papers were filed. But he isn't related to her. I wouldn't see him being able to get her unless there was someone from her family to help him get her on his own.

how isnt it her buisness? Having an alcoholic parent can be a form of abuse. if you saw a child get hit by there parent would you just walk on by and say its none of my buisness? theres not much of a difference between the two.

The CpS visit was for today. I just hope they leave the case open for investigation for awhile. I hope if she continues on this path that he will find away to take the kids and leave.
