re: kids 18 months apart

i have a 2 1/2 month old and my roommate has a 17 month old that i watch while shes at work. shes kind of a brat a lot of the time, but its not too difficult. the hardet part is the fact that i bf, so sometimes its hard to get to her right away and i have to figure out a schedule around their feeding and nap times

For me, it wasn't hard until DS2 starting crawling at 5 months.
If i didn't have such bad depression, i don't think it would have been hard after that, but once he started getting mobile it got BAD.

Overall I look back now and think of how easy it was to take car of two so close together and they are the best of friends!

Kudos to you ladies who can have children this close together! I could NEVER do it. I would go mentally insane! I'd be taking care of 3 children if you count DH as one :/

on any given day, i can have about 6 Lo's here.
9 year old, 5 year old, 2 year old, 20 month old, 10 month old and 3 month old

and now im pregnant! ha

i manage;... i also keep my house clean.. and we go on outings... we have before, it depends on how im feeling..

Well you are my hero because i just don't have the patience for all that. I hardly have them for one haha. I hate to say it but DH and I will probably either not have any more or if we do they will be really gaped out. For the sake of my well being. I had a horrible labor experience and really bad PPD too so that also keeps me from wanting more :/

you just do it, and dont have a choice. lol. i try not to sweat the toys and small stuff. i keep food AT THE TABLE. which is hard for the 9 year old to grasp. but its doable..
