"Strong Bonds Program"
posted 19th Nov
I just want to know if any of you ladies have taken advantage of this? What was it like? Is it a stupid waste of time?
DH and I are still early in our marriage (2 year anniversary is Jan. 25). We've had a rocky first year (I've also been pregnant almost our entire marriage, lol) and its been getting SO much better, we hardly ever fight anymore and when we do, we resolve it fairly easily. But, we do have a lot to work on still and I'm always open for advice and help on how to make our relationship even better.
DH suggested that we register tonight and I said I'd let him know in the morning.
TIA for the help

We went to one. It pretty much told us to do what we were already doing. It can be helpful as long as both of you are into it.

It's a program offered to military families, I just learned about it this evening and thought it sounded pretty nice. But, they're known for blowing smoke up people's asses, lol.

Awesome thank you so much for this! I'm really stressing esp with LO arriving in about 8 weeks I'm so afraid of how he is going to handle it. The big issue we are having now is he wants to bundle everything and he feels less "manly" for seeking PTS therapy or help. I want to help him so much but I also don't want to pressure him and let him come to terms and I'm not really sure about how to go about it, so maybe I.can find some insight on something .. also I want to wish you and your SO very many many happy years to come !!!
