POSTPARTUM TUMMY

This was my third full term pregnancy and second baby, my stomach came back to normal pretty quick after the first two pregnancies however this time things are moving much slower which i did expect, however when i hold in my stomach it looks like a sink or space under my navel and i am wondering if its a sign of abdominal separation i am only two weeks post delivery, has anyone had a similar issues or is it too soon to tell, I started the belly banning a little late due to some stomach pains i had earlier and i feel this may have been the reason also i lifted my 2 year old one or twice and i know i should not have but could not resist as she was ill.

whats belly banning?

I have/had this same issue! It's like an indention below my belly button. I have always wondered what it was. I got it after I had DS, Always thought that it's just something that comes along w/ having kids?? I had a c-section BTW.

Yes thats exactly what i looks like a space or indention like something is missing, did your go back to normal after? i am watching to see what happens and i can let my doc check it out at my 6week appt

No it didn't go back to normal. :/

I seriously thought that they had taken something out when I had my son. Like, they accidently took some muscle or something. lol Did you have a c-section as well?

no i had a normal delivery, but i guess it does not matter the uterus contracts the same either way right.

I guess this is one other thing they forget to tell us about with respect to pregnancy
