Things are looking up :)

So, it's looking like my SO is going to be getting at least one job...possibly two. And we found an apartment that we can afford to live in, we just just need to pass a background check and probably find a co-signer.
YAY! Out of my parents house, on our own, not struggling, and little man...all in the same month. Sounds like a pretty awesome way to spend Christmas

Are you sure you're ready to be on your own?
Not trying to give you a hard time.
But. Bill wise you have: rent, water, electricity, gas for a vehicle, car insurance, grocery shopping, diapers (TONS of them), formula if you don't BF, cell phone bill?, clothes for LO, things LO needs, etc.

It's not cheap. At all.

The apartment we're looking at is a 2 bedroom for 327 a month (low income), garbage, sewer and water are paid for. We get food stamps and WIC, I get 950 a month and plus with SO getting this job we'll be able to afford diapers and stuff for little man. Neither of us drive, or have a vehicle so that's not a problem...and the bus system in town is free.
And we don't have much of a choice...my parents have been told that someone needs to move out, and my older brother can't because he's on probation...soooo, that leaves us.
