Just a vent!

I went into l&d on saturday with contractions 4 minutes apart...but they didnt dilate me at all in the hour i was there. (not a problem Im only 38 weeks so i know baby needs to cook more!!) But they arent letting up and i just need to talk to someone about it! My back is on fire and nothing is working to let up the pain! Wednesday I find out if they are doing anything or not! Its just so painful and im ready to hold her!! Im sorry Im not trying to complain just vent!!

They dont dialate you, your body does.

have u tried taking benedryl? that is what my doc told mr to take to help me relax and lessen the back pain.

I know they dont dilate you...i was saying the contractions didnt make me dilate in the hour i was there

When my back hurt I used a heating pad on low and tht helped a ton!

I'm soo sorry.. I had contractions from the time I was 5 months pregnant with my 2nd. I had him early at 33 weeks. Its extremely painful.. I'm so sorry.. if you want to vent more or just talk about it you can PM me any time. I hope you feel better!

The heating pad actually makes them worse...idk If its because she just try's to move away from it causing more pressure or what

I totally understand. I don't see it as complaining. Update on wednesday. I hope all goes well! :-)
