My baby boy is only 3 weeks old and lately ill lay him down got a 'nap' or like tonight, bedtime. Ill sit there and listen to him for a while being wide awake and when I hear him spit up ill get up to wipe it up and make sure he is okay. Well this last time I had to change his sheet so when I picked him up and put him against my chest he fell right to sleep. I think he really my heartbeat or something. He is definitely a tummy sleeper but I always put him on his back in his bassinet. Just wishing he would go to sleep without the heartbeat or whatever it is lol

It's called the fourth trimester or something. You can't expect him to be so close to you for 9 mos and then just abruptly enjoy being alone.
There is also a term for baby wearing and that's the second gestation or skmething like that.

My LO started sleeping on her stomach at about a month old. Neither of us were getting much sleep if I tried to put her on her back. It worked for us and she is still a stomach sleeper. She wakes up crying if she rolls in her sleep to her back.

Well the fourth trimester thing makes sense actually. Lol.
I am so nervous about putting him on his stomach to sleep because he doesn't have total control of his head yet. I allow it if its on our chests or we will be watching him constantly.

Yeah It's scary to leave them on their tummy.
