Bellybutton

Has anyone had their LO's belly button look like this??

It's red and had some scabbing in the lil crease, but I had wiped it out after his bath. I'm scared that it never healed when his umbilical cord fell off.   After his cord fell off it bled for a few days, but the Dr said it was normal and it looked as if it healed fine. Until now. I also tried looking in the crease, but there was more scabbing and I'm afraid if I pull it apart there's gonna be a gaping hole in his belly. Lol

Anyways, if anyone has seen this before what could it be and what should I do?

ETA- He's 3 1/2 months old.

I would call his pedi tomorrow and ask about it. Possibly have it looked t just because of how red it is. I wouldn't mess around with though, it could irritate it more.

I'm leaving it be now. Just had to dry it off after his bath. I'm calling the pedi tomorrow and hoping they'll defer our co-pay if I have to take him in.

Idk where the scabbing came from. It hasn't bled or anything and it's looked normal until today. It started out a lil pink then after his bath it became red. Ugh idk. I hope the pedi wasn't idiot and it healed after his cord fell off. I'm gonna have nightmares of him having a huge hole in his belly
