Contractions

Silly question here.....

I've felt contractions (so far) in my belly.

I've been getting extremely sharp pains through out my hips & butt tonight, like with tons of pressure. Would these be considered contractions too even though they aren't in my belly? I know you can have back labor.....

Nothing is time able or anything like that. But damn they hurt.

Could be spreading/stretching.

I get pains so bad that I can't move for a while. But I think he's just stretching me out. Last time I can remember not being able to walk bc of my hips!

We went to the mall earlier to walk, came home & that's what I've been feeling since.

I had that happen while I was in the hospital with a false alarm last night lol. I was having regular contractions then started getting those pains and the nurse raised the bed so it was right at my hips, put a pillow in front of me and told me to lean over it on the pillow and spread my legs a little farther than shoulder width apart. And sway side to side. go completely side to side as low as you can. she told me that feeling could be the baby being on/super close to your spine or with baby's back to your back. like spine to spine. and apparently doing those movements will make the baby move... and possibly speed up the contractions or in my case make them slow way back down to 10-15 minutes apart. good luck

I got the car seat in on Saturday. (And it looks DAMN good in there too! lol) Bags have been packed but I actually put his bag in the car this morning. I need to put mine in there too. I'm leaving my son's here so if we don't drop it of my mom knows where it is.

I went to Walmart & bought myself some slippers, giant bag of over nighter pads haha, new undies, traveling sized items (tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo, etc.)

For baby, I packed a "general" diaper bag plus clothes/socks I might put him in, 1 swaddling blanket, 1 snuggly one, boob cream for me.... My aunt is bringing baby hats to the hospital as a welcome gift lol.

My bag has a pair of go home clothes (sweatpants/tshirt). My bathroom bag is on the sink in my bathroom but has toothbrush, floss, deodorant, paste, leave in conditioner, hair ties, bobby pins, lip balm, disposable razor in it.

I'll have someone bring my laptop/charger, phone charger, and shower stuff later.

I need to put a towel (or 2) in the car as well......
