woo hoo!

My midwife checked for dilation today after my group b strep test and I'm at 2 cm! I'm so excited   my little girl will be here before I know it!

Hate to burst you bubble but you could still go overdue. Dilation really means nothing.

You're due on my birthday. Anyways, i was only 2cm's after my water broke & i got to the hospital..
You could still go past your due date.

You're not due for another couple weeks anyways. :p

it'll be perfect, if you're anything like me you'll be at 2 cm for a month and then in one day go from 2cm to 5cm in a matter of hours...and it was a day before my due date that I had him!..good luck, lets hope she stays in their that long!!

Good luck! It's nice to see your body making progress even if labor is a few days or weeks out. I was a 1 last Wednesday when they checked me. Hoping to be a little more this week.  

I know I can still go overdue, it just makes me feel like I've accomplished something for some reason. Lol

For everyone saying she could still go overdue, it's still AWESOME to see some progress going on. Even if it's still a while before baby actually gets here.

Some people do go over due. But I didnt with my son I was 2cm 5 weeks before my due date and 3 weeks later was 4 cm and the next day my water broke . So I had my son 2 weeks before his due date. Everybody different so there no telling if baby come earlier or late. Goodluck
