I'm so worried about my next on since my first as only 45 minutes.. its gonna end up being like 20 minutes. Haha.

Thank God I stopped leaking lol. I have a love/hate relationship with BFing. I hate it most of the time, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was terrified that I wouldnt make it to the hospital. So I was very releived when my midwife offered induction. If I wouldnt have accepted it if I wasnt already 5 cm. But obviously she was ready to come.

My midwife has said if we decide to have another that I will begin to be checked for dilation at an earlier time and they will have to put me on bedrest until it is safe to induce (or baby decides to come). Both kiddos were 36 weekers. I think hubby and I are finished having kids of our own but we have discussed surrogacy for a close friend.

I don't know about after but I can tell you that my first was 21 hours, my second was 6 hours, and my third was 30 minutes.. lol so it got a lot quicker with subsequent pregnancies for me, and thankfully.

close friend of mines second child was 2 hours but her third and fourth were much longer. I think her third was 11 hours and her third was 6 hours. My second labor wasn't Precipitous but it was pretty close at 4 hours start to finish. I got to the birth center 15 minutes before my daughter arrived. My third labor was all together 29 hours , nine of those were what I would consider active and two were hard labor. I'm hoping for a labor like my second for this fourth baby!!

My mum had fast labours!
1st was 3 hours 30 mins.
2nd was 2 hours or something
3rd was induced so was abit longer ( medical)
4th (me) her waters broke and I was born 40 mins later.
5th water broke & just made it to the hospital (20 mins)
6th, 5 hours emergency c-section (breech)
7th- 2 mins, fully dilated all what was holding him in was his waters.( she went to the toilet and seen blood)

I was hoping for faster labours but I had a 12 hour labour (I was dilated at 8/half hours) was waiting for him to drop for hour and pushed for 3 lol

I have had two. My first baby was born in 4.5 hours, second was just undee 3 hours and my third was about 20 minutes with about a couple hours a night for a week and a half of prodromal (early labor or false alarm labor) you will probably have another. My last was born unassisted (not on purpose) and the story is in my profile if you are looking for more detail   it was a castor oil birth but isnt mentioned in that story.
