Just keep praying. God has a plan. Did they officially say what your rent will go up to where you're at right now? I can't remember if I asked that question or not...sorry if I have.

That Montair apartments we were in kept hiking our rent each year so we finally moved out and got our trailer. I mean, c'mon, if they're going to charge me JUST AS MUCH as my trailer, might as well buy ya know? But, I got charged $500 for carpet upon leaving and our carpet was FINE so watch out.

i asked them and they said "$20 as of now but we can't tell you a final price until january" but we can't wait that long to find out and i looked online and they listed it as $850 which we pay $680 so it's wayyyy too much  
i'm really bummed that our bank won't give us a loan so we could just buy a place already and quit with all this renting crap but someday..

Have you called around other banks to see about loans?

Also, did you mention to your apartment people that you looked online and it said $800's?

It could be $20 because you're already living there and in that case, $20 isn't horrible at all. Ours was going to go up nearly $200 this summer when we bought our trailer. So funny though that once we signed papers to vacate, they were willing to keep our rent the same. I told them it's too late now, I've signed papers on the trailer. Our rent was $770 before utilities. Our trailer is $1,050 (includes lot rent and mortgage). We'll have the trailer paid off completely in 10yrs.

However, I landed fortunate. Someone paid our down payment to move in and that was only by the grace of God because we were having issues getting a loan as well. Stay faithful, like I said, God has a plan.
