re: Smurf you PCOS

I NEVERRR get my period. And when I finally do get it...it makes up for the months/years Ive missed! I took metformin...it takes a while fr yor body to get used to it. It took about 2 months to work for me (the first time i didnt even know I ovulated cuzI got pregnant on the first shot!) It helped me lose weight when I avoided starchy foods.

Are any of you ladies on BC to try help regulate it? I have my tubes tied so I'm not on it but my doc suggested that would be the next step before ovarian drilling. And I hate BC and highly doubt it would help since I was on BC for a whole yr with the same sympotms. I had implanon and I thought that was causing my problems and had it removed and still had issues

My doctor won't do anything   I'm switching to another doctor I'm not even on birth control

My mom was put on Metformin and Spironolactin together to help with her PCOS symptoms and it did wonders for her. Maybe talk to your doctor about that?

I tried BC, it made matters worse.

I not my doctor won't put me on anything

But my mom had her tubes tied and was on birth control for PCOS
