No teeth at almost 1yr?

My daughter hasn't got any teeth yet, and she's going to be a year old on the 6th of Dec.

I'm going to ask her pedi at her 1 yr appointment, but is this normal? My first daughter had a ton of teeth by the time she was one.

I was still loosing baby teeth at 15, do you think it could be that she's like me and just late getting started? Or should I be worried?

Both my kids were like that. My kids had like a tooth at their bday parties. Our pedi just said they will probably hit puberty later since it means they may just develope slower physically

I've heard babies can start getting teeth up to a year. My older two started getting them at 4 months but my youngest is going to be 11 months on the 28th and JUST got his first tooth a couple of weeks ago.

I wouldn't be worried at all. DD didn't her first tooth until she was almost 13 months old and she got a ton at once then. I was concerned and asked her pedi about it at her 12 month appointment, but he said as long as they started cutting teeth by about 15-18 months old then it's normal.

DD got her 1st tooth around 13mo.
