Salmon skin??

My step dad gave me some salmon yesterday and it still has the skin on it. I've had grilled salmon once, but it didn't have the skin. I'm just gonna pan fry it and I know the skin peels off easily once it's cooked but idk if i should just leave it on or what. Opinions?

You can leave it on to cook it so the salmon does not fall apart an stake it off when its done. That is how I do it anyway.

I always leave the skin on the salmon, and tell my husband not to eat it when it's on his plate haha. But seriously, it slides off easily, without having to try and pull it off even.

I leave it on and just let it get really crispy. Crispy skin salmon is DELICIOUS.

So I ended up peeling it off. I washed it, and when I was wiping the skin these clear scale looking things kept coming off and it grossed me out lol the salmon itself was super yummy though!
