a Guardian Ad Litem. It's a unbiased person who basically is there to be an advocate for your child and decide who is best suited to care for said child.

Another thing that makes me feel better is my cousins BM was charged with child endangerment for leaving her kids in the car while she went inside. Child services has been called on her she said 6x too. She still has her kids....

I don't think she's a bad mom, I've talked to her before, and I wish she would just stay the SmUrf away from her BD. They are TOXIC together, I mean obviously seeing as how both of them have DV charges on them ( more then one maybe?).

OP, if you want this to work in your favor, you need to drop him and stop doing this crazy off and on dance with him. That right there is what is going to get your child removed from your care. That shows a history of bad choices and it's exposing your child to needless violence. In THIS case,him giving you full custody won't work for or against you TBH.
