When you say they are both a theory, what is the other thing you are talking about?

Do you believe we should no longer teach evolution eiter?
I don't necessarily disagree with you, but if that is your basis for doing away with creationism in the public schools, I'd assume you'd also disagree with the teaching of evolution, correct?

My science teacher briefly touched on creationism, and it was a joke. She laughed at it every step of the way. I suppose that has tainted why I feel the way I do.

Unfortunately many teachers do not follow teacher codes of conduct, especially in higher grades.
Come college, all professionalism really goes out the door.

Of course, we need to teach our kids such a strong foundation at home, that nothing any teacher says will sway their beliefs!

A scientific theory, and a general theory are not the same.

There is evidence for evolution. There is no scientific evidence for creationism. Evolution is a scientific theory.

No, but they both address the same study.

But On different levels. Science has mountains of evidence to prove points, creationism just has a religious text. Which holds a lot of questionable events in it.

There is no real scientific proof of evolution. :/ it's best guess.

There is a lot of proof for it actually?

Both ARE theories. There is no 100% proof of evolution or creationism- evolution is supposed to be taught as a theory.

There actually is a lot if proof, but it's rarely taught and taught appropriately.

I'd agree.

And the latter part is why I'm perfectly fine with it not being taught in public schools, and why I'd rather homeschool.
