Sharing my thoughts

I am the proud FTM of a beautiful baby girl that is two weeks old. She is a great baby. I never expected parenting to be at all easy, but it is more than I expected. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining but it is a lot of work caring for a newborn. I am very thankful for my husband that is very involved in her care when he gets home from work. I also had a fairly easy delivery but A TON of stitches. I physically feel pretty awesome but I do tire easily. Sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed but then I just look at her and its all worth it.

This is my story exactly but I had a boy...I cry about once a day because I am so stressed...I am amazed at how my husband has stepped up.

same here. its truly amazing how attached they can get right off the bat.

Its very upsetting when nothing I do calms and soothes him but he is completely calm when my husband or MIL hold him...sometimes I think he hates mommy already

Is he gassy? are you breastfeeding or using formula? Sometimes I think that too, & joke about it with my hubby, but there isnt a person they love more than their mommy, so dont feel like that. dont let negative thoughts bring you down like that, because it's just the hormones probably.
