Did you have another preemie?

posted 19th Nov
Im 9 weeks with my 2nd. & My son was born 8 weeks early. Im more terrifed this time around well obviously cuz I know that I had the problem the last time.. But not only that I had to stay in the hospital for a week before they couldnt stop it no more (was planning on being there a month) which is 2 hours away. I keep freaking out wondering how I would manage that now that I already have a kid and be so far away from him. I will be getting those 17p shots starting at week 20.

My daughter was a 37 weeker. Not super early. My son was a 35 weeker with preterm labor problems from 32 weeks on. I'm worried about the same things. We got pregnant again when he was 3 months old and I'm nervous this one will be even earlier.

It depends on why your first came early. My second was born at 31 weeks, third 31 weeks, fourth 34 weeks and fifth 35 weeks. I found out after multiple miscarriages between my third and fourth baby that I have an auto immune disorder. One of the side effects causes premature delivery.

38 weeks preemie? Preemie is a baby born before 37 weeks.

Yea it wasn't fun I was in preterm labor and bed rest since 27 weeks! This pregnancy has been so much easier than that one!

i feel ya. My daughter was easy, but she was born at 37 weeks. My son I was in pain from about 22 weeks on and then at 32 weeks was in and out of the hospital stopping labor. practically lived there. At 35 it was finally too far gone they couldn't stop it, but we had steroid shots and all that so he was super healthy.

We had the steroid shots as well she was born completely healthly, but it was still way to scary for my liking! I'm glad this one has waited this long!!

It was scary, but by the time the night he was born I was so damn ready, haha. My body felt like it was going to give up any minute. I'm hoping this one is easier, but they are very close together, so I'm not counting on it.
