had My Membranes swept today

My ob said my girl was measuring big she measuring over 38 weeks she swept my membranes and said i had bloody show on her glove doed that mean ill be in labor soon?

I had my membranes swept with both girls at 37, 38, 39 (induced with Taylor at 39) and 40 weeks... Never did anything.

Bleeding is normal and so if some hella cramps.

i think bleeding is normal when they get swept. I went into labour the next day after mine. but everyone is differant some people will get it done 3 times and still go over, just depends if your body is ready

with #3 and #4 I had my membranes swept/stripped. i didn't bleed with the first, but spotted with the 2nd. with both, I started having contractions within 2 hours. with both I was in labor a total of 12 hours.

Anything that irritates your cervix can make you bleed at any point in your pregnancy. Your cervix is ultra sensitive during pregnancy.

I've had my membranes swept once...and when he took his hand out he said "you see that blood? thats a good sign! see you tonight!" Sure enough I was in labor and admitted that night and had her the next morning.

I was dilated to a 3 for like 3 weeks.

I been at 2cm for bout a week already every week i got checked i was another cm or half of it.
