Quoting ♫ boobook ♫:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Two Princesses:</b>" I had an IEP from entering pre school in ... [snip!] ... thinking about imaginary things that could happen to make the day a little lighter. I'm not trying to be insensitive at all..."
No worries I understand you weren't trying to be insensitive and like I said I wasn't offended.
I guess I always saw IEP meetings as something that could make or break the quality of my school year as a disabled student.
but I like the bringing your own goals lol.
Always remember momma no matter what they say or how they say it to you, you always have the final say. Many IEP teams will try and lead you to believe other wise, but in IEP meetings what the parents say goes.
Be polite but forceful and even if they don't like you or agree with you you will get the things you feel are best for your child.
Let me tell you by the time he graduates high school, you will have enough copies of that "Parents rights" paper to wallpaper your house lol.
