Oh and tell your family to STFU (nicely) I hate when people think they know everything about my kids. Remember not every kid is the same and not every kid follows some ideal timeline of when things "should" happen. 3.5 is still a perfectly normal age for boys to not be PT. The less stressed you are about the less stressed he will be. Taking a break from PT was the best thing I ever did. Stay strong and just trust your instincts.

Nicely will turn into be getting bitched at and I won't be nice after that lol it's mostly my grandma. She's a bit of a bitch when it comes to my kids.

Okay, I might be judged for this, but in all honesty my husband and I would let our son come into the bathroom while we were going to the bathroom, he is curious and would ask what we were doing, and we'd explain. Going "pee pee" and "poo poo" which he understood. The more he watched us do it the more he wanted to do it himself. I mean, we're all programmed like monkeys. Monkey see, Monkey do. I know it's awkward to have your kid in there with you, but in all honesty he's not two till the 30th of this month and he is already potty trained, except for a few accidents here and there. (mostly at night) It worked better than having him pee everywhere in our house, and forcing him to sit on the potty. Use your child's curiosity to your advantage.

Quoting O ♥ G:" I hear you. It's frustrating. My DD turned 3 in October and she goes perfectly at school and refuses ... [snip!] ... near pooping on the potty either. Idk what to do. I'm hoping being home with her the next few months will help ***SIGHHH***"

Have you looking into why your DD is going potty at school but doesnt at home?
I had the same problem when my DD turned 3, she would go all day at preschool in undies, then put a nappy on as soon as she got home. I was at my witts end until i found out that her preschool had been bribing her with lollies everytime she used the toilet.

Definitely NOT weird. My son is 1 and comes with me 1. because I don't want him to be alone and 2. so I can explain what I am doing. Like I said before, nakey time but also have the potty where he is most of the time and tell him anytime he needs to use it, go ahead. Maybe he is just scared to tell you all the time when he has to go. My daughter would always tell me she has to go potty and we would sit there 10 minutes and then she'd say all done but then nothing came out lol/ Best thing to remember is be patient.
