Name? Pick one please!

posted 19th Nov
I'm 14 weeks and 2 days. I'm scheduled to find out the gender in 3-ish weeks. I need help picking out a name. The middle name will stay Ashlee weather it's a boy or girl though. Please vote. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to post them. Thanks!

If you must, please use Ashley if it's a boy. Ashlee is extremely feminine and horrid on a boy.

Couldn't you use Ashe if it's a boy instead of Ashlee. That's so girly. Even Ashley is. Poor child

I don't particularly like two A names but if you want it, Alisha

The reason I chose "Ashlee" is because I want my sister's name in it. She passed away three years ago.

I understand but I think you can honor her using similar names- Asher is great for a boy and would totally be a great way to honor her!

To be honest, I never really thought of it like that. But I really like the name Asher. Thanks!

It's great to honor your Sister, but not so great to subject your boy child to a girls name. Think of the teasing he will get.

I love Ashley for a boy! I don't see the big issue in using it, especially for a middle name. however I don't like either girl poll option, and Andrew Ashley is okay.

Ashley was originally a males name

No problem. I completely get that you want to use your sister's name- I have 3 sisters so I truly do get it. But you also want your son to have his own identity and no be afraid to tell people his name, you know? Imagine being like, an 8 year old boy having to say your middle name is "Ashlee". It would be great for him because it has family meaning, but no other child would get it

I have never seen or heard of a male named Ashley.

In my life, middle names haven't come up very often. Just saying. But I do understand what you mean.

I'm just throwing around names, lol. The only two names my boyfriend and I have agreed on are Aubree and Aiden. He doesn't like Ashlee as a middle name for a boy and I understand it and he understands my reasoning too. It's just difficult to chose.
