Quoting Gabriella Anderson:" Names are spelled differently and alot are spelled differently these days. There's no book saying names ... [snip!] ... a certain way. ALSO, if you look at my first few posts, you'll see my reason for spelling it Ashlee. "Thanks" for your "input.""

Other masculine boys Ash- names....

Ashley
Asher
Ash
Ashton

Also, I might get some poop for saying this, but I think both Aiden and Andrew are fine. Aiden went through a "holy smurf, is anyone else going to name their kid this?" but now I hear it less and less........

As far as girls, if you're going to use Ashlee, I'd avoid anything ending in the "ee" sound. Alicia Ashlee isn't awful.

Thank you for the other boy suggestions that sound like Ashlee, lol. I might need those. I don't like double letters (ex: AA's) usually, but Alicia Ashlee really stuck out to me. The names my boyfriend and I have agreed on are Aubree and Aiden. Lol.

I like the name Ashley for a boy. Ashley Wilkes was Scarlette O'Hara's crush in Gone With the Wind. He wasn't my favorite character but it is one of my favorite books!

There's nothing wrong with the names you chose, hun. I like the names Aubree (every way it's spelled), Alicia and Aiden. It's your baby, so don't let random RUDE people influence the spelling or names you chose.

Aubree and Aiden are SO overused, I'd stay away from them.
I like Andrew Ashley.

I don't know if you want suggestions, but here's some anyways :p
I actually like Ashley as a middle name for a boy, but I'm including some of the alternatives because you said your SO's not too fond of Ashley as a MN for a boy.

Boys:
Asher Kyle (Totally stalked your page to find out your SO's name)
Isaiah Asher
Ashton Riley
Elias Ashley
Silas Asher/Silas Ashley
Brady Asher
Lucas Ashley
Greyson Ashley
Wyatt Ashley
Jonah Asher
Taylor Ashton
Micah Ashley
Josiah Ashley

Girls:
Mila Ashlee
Willow Ashlee
Clara Ashlee
Nora Ashlee
Hannah Ashlee
Aria Ashlee
Ella Ashlee
Gemma Ashlee
Adeline Ashlee
Gianna Ashlee
Stella Ashlee
Olivia Ashlee
Isla Ashlee
Juliet Ashlee
Leah Ashlee
Amelia Ashlee
Malia Ashlee
Adalia Ashlee

I'm sorry if I offended you with my comment. I wasn't trying to be rude, I just thought you wanted opinions. I also didn't see the comment about why you want to spell it Ashlee. Everyone hates that I named my son Otto, but in the end, it was never their choice! Just like it's you and his or her father's decision to make!

My comment wasn't directed towards you at all, it was directed to someone else before you had commented that was being rude. You're fine, I promise.   You're 100% right, it's always the parents' decision. I like the name Otto!

Thanks for all the name suggestions, we could definitely use them! I agree that Aubree and Aiden are a bit over used, everyone I know that's pregnant has named their daughter Aubrey or Audrey. Lol.

I'll be glad to see Ashley on a boy seeing as it's a masculine name.

I wouldn't choose an A name to go with it, though.

Aubree and Aiden are horribly popular names. Aubrey is a male name. I appreciate Ashley on a boy. As it is a male name. But please spell it Ashley. I do understand why you spelled it Ashlee though.

Asher or Ash or Ashley would be better

Thanks soo much! My parents were telling me that even though I like the names I chose, that it's okay to look at other names too. I'll definitely consider these.
