I found out that my uncle passed away unexpectedly two weeks after I found out I was pregnant. His name was Chris. My daughter's middle name is Christine to honor him.

Ashley is still ranked in the top 100 for boys in the UK. Its a very common boys name still. Your little boy won't be the only boy named Ashley in this world. He'll survive.

I'm really stressed about names and trying to make sure that I use her name. I didn't think of names like Asher, etc instead of Ashlee. Lol. I really like the name Christine too. Thanks!

Blech. Not a fan of the spelling of Aubree or Ashlee.

But I feel like Ashlee is a different ballgame. (I know this wasn't directed towards me.) I think Ashley wouldn't be a horrible MN for a boy, but Ashlee screams GIRL to me.

I agree that Ashlee is more commonly used as a girls name. The spelling too, is used for girls.

Ashley, Shannon, Tracy, Stacy - all started as boy names.

Aubrey was originally a mans name, as was Ashley.

I prefer original spellings I think its timeless but Aubrey Ashley does not flow, most of hte names do not because of the double A

I appreciate the name Ashely being used for a boy. However, I hope you'd learn how to spell before you fill out the birth certificate.

I don't like any of the first names, but not my kid.

Names are spelled differently and alot are spelled differently these days. There's no book saying names are spelled a certain way. ALSO, if you look at my first few posts, you'll see my reason for spelling it Ashlee. "Thanks" for your "input."

I really like Andrew Ashley, with that spelling. I know a guy named Ashley and he is a sweetheart, but very much a man. I don't see it as a feminine name at allxas long as it's spelled that way.

I don't think names have anything to do with how much of a man someone is, but I guess other people think differently. (Not referring to you). But thank you!
