Cleaning pack n play (pic/video)

I have a baby trend nursery center, that i was just going to get rid of because from DD, and spilling stuff, accidents, and all that gross stuff, it was absolutely disgusting... until i came across a video on Pinterest on cleaning the pack n play... and im doing it right now.. i will say, as of right now, its working amazingly, and i will probably do it again before E is born... maybe once or two times more before she is born, and then once a month after that... i thought i would share, because the first place i came like... 8 months ago, to figure out how to clean it, was here. oh. my pack n play does not have a removable cover like some are.




and this is what mine is looking like right now.. after 1.5 hours of soaking so far. (im pretty ashamed.. but in my defense, V slept in it in our room from nb to 6 months when we transitioned her, and we have taken it on MULTIPLE week long camping trips. (we do not have an RV ;))
I will update when its done, with a freshly cleaned picture  
(mine had mostly milk stains from her cups and bottles)

Thanks for posting this! My oldest DD never slept much in hers or spilled anything, but I would still like to try this out so that DD2 can sleep in a fresh, clean one

What's the stuff you use?

I personally used regular laundry detergent with apple cider vinegar mixed in it. like i do with my clothes..

vinegar is a great stain remover and a deodorizer. regular laundry detergent (i use all free and clear) because i just feel like it gets cleaner with it... lol

I was going to ask you the same thing haha. I use vinegar for everything so good to know I don't have to buy the type of detergent she used in the video   I have the All Free & Clear too.

Cool! Thanks!! I was trying to figure out what the lady used, but I looked it up on Amazon and there's a bunch of different things to pick from. If I try it I will probably just do what you did. How much vinegar and laundry detergent did you use?

I used like 1/4 cup in the entire tub, and a normal amount on laundry detergent that i would use in the wash. then i just filled the tub with hot water.

Thanks!! I wonder if it would also help if I used a stain release tab (I have the free and clear ones)
