Going in for testing...
posted 19th Nov
Had an appointment today. 32 weeks and so far so good!! She's dropping though, which is becoming very uncomfortable but ehh whatever. But he did say in 2 weeks he wants me to start coming in for testing like twice a week because of the complications I had earlier in the pregnancy. He didn't really explain what to expect though, just that it's nothing to worry about it's just precautionary because I had problems that caused her placenta to partially detach and it might cause labor problems or something. =/
Anyone else have to go in for "testing" that can maybe tell me exactly what it's all about?

Non stress tests?

My guess would be non stress test. They would just have you come in and attach you to a monitor to watch the babies heart beat and count kicks and see if your contracting at all...and if so how the baby is reacting. This is what they had me do because I had a placenta previa early in pregnancy as well as a prior stillbirth. I cant imagine what else they could do...?

Yes. More than likely if it is twice a week he wants u to come in for non stress tests or NST's. It is just monitoring movements, babies heart rate and your contractions. You just sit in a chair with monitors on your belly. I have to have em done twice a week too until I deliver.

Possibly. He just said "testing". I'm probably thinking too much into it...but it kind of made me nervous.
