UPDATE:
Had the appt this afternoon for a better ultrasound and happy to say there is just one healthy baby in there measuring on track. Due date still the same on July 4th. They think the PA was looking at the yolk sac? It was a crappy machine too! Got a better ultrasound this afternoon

Ok so I had my first appt this morning. My Dr had a bedside old sonogram machine and did a quick ultrasound but it was blurry and old. She said it was one sac and two babies which means identical. However the one baby had a heartbeat and was measuring around 7 weeks ish and the other baby behind it was measuring 6 weeks 3 days ish. The Dr said her machine is really old and this was an estimate. No heartbeat was found on the twin measuring 6 weeks 3 days ish. Could it still be to early to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks 3 days? We are hoping it was just a crappy machine (which she said it was). We have a high tech ultrasound at 2pm and should know more then.

Can you see a heartbeat at 6 weeks 3days-ish? Please be honest. Thanks

Depending on the position of the baby it is highly likely the ultrasound just didnt pick one up. Dont worry if the doctor was concerned you would know.

6 weeks you SHOULD be able to see the heartbeat, but I would not get worked up or excited until you get a 2nd opinion.

We are thinking that the other twin is behind and prob doesn't have a heartbeat period which really sucks.... saying a prayer that things work out but we are expecting the worse at this point

I had an u/s at 5w no heartbeat, 5w4ds and saw the heart beat, and then at 6w4ds and saw the heartbeat again, but it was super hard to catch even on the high tech machine.

It was faint, and they could barely pick it up a heartbeat period. A very faint flicker.

They couldnt see a heart beat at 7 weeks and told me I needed a d & c. I refused went to my regular ob and they found a heartveat a week later. My cousin had twins and one baby measured behind most of the pregnancy... They are now almost two and holy terrors! Be optimistic... Good luck!
