She won't take a soother...

DD is 6 months and she hasn't taken a soother since she was born, which was awesome, at first... But now she's using me a soother. Any tips on getting her to take a soother??

some kids just hate them. My dd never took a binkie. she HATED them. I was her paci/binkie/soother. she even learned how to suck with out gettign milk if all she wanted was to suck. at first it was a bit of a pain. but then she out grew it some.

I really couldn't give you much advice but I will say sometimes I wish I were in your shoes. DD does nothing but suck her thumb and she's done it since day one lol. Doesn't want a pacifier but she will suck the hell out of her thumb for comfort.

My first only took one for 3 months then stopped. My second refuse one all together. My third takes one from anyone but me. Nothing you can do about it really
