Question!

Does this sound like croup?

Delilah coughs loud and really bad at night.
It makes it hard for her to breathe when she coughs alot at night.
During the day, shes fine and coughs loud but not as much.

Could be or it could be pneumonia. I would take her in for a chest x-ray.

Take her in to get checked. It's likely just a cold with the mucus settling when she relaxes. Try using a humidifier in her room too.

croup sounds like a dog bark and yes it is worse at night my son had it. My 5 month old has double ear infections and she would scream all night long till the meds helped.

Everything pools in her chest when she lays down at night. If you put something under her say a pillow or one if those mesh bathtub Betty things, you wouldn't find she coughs as much. She needs to be on an incline.

Im trying to call the doctor but they arent answering.
I dont remember their lunch hours but its only 10:30 -_-

I had her inclined all night. She jist kept coughing, I cant believe that sound is coming out of her. It does sound like a dog barking

then most likely it is croup try steam from the shower before she goes to bed, here they just them the steroid and send them on there way.

Okay, I know my friends son had croup and they only got antibiotics, which I have that. And her doctor isnt open, ive called 10 times. Theres just no fever. She acts fine till night time when she coughs crazy. Shes had it since saturday and its no thatt bad anymore.

croup is viral. They wouldn't give antibiotics just for that. There would have to be some sort of bacterial infection on top of croup. A steamy room, or cool air if it's cold by you will help. If it's super bad they can give you steroids for it that will help (kid sized, not athlete sized)
