Pregnant after period?

Has anyone found out they were pregnant after getting what they thought was their period?

I've had nausea and sore boobs since a week before my period started. I continued to feel the same way during and now it's been 3 days since it stopped and I still feel like throwing up with sore breasts.

My period to begin with seemed lighter and definantly didn't last nearly as long. I usually have a 6-7 period with cramps with 3-4 of those days with a really heavy flow *TMI*. This time it lasted 4 days and I had sore boobs and had nausea.

I'm trying to decide if it even worth taking a test because me and DH use condoms but I have no explanation as to why I feel so icky lately.

If it were me, I'd take a test, just because i hate not being absolutely sure. More than likely it's just a weird cycle, but stranger things have happened.  

Yes, very recently actually. Mine is ending in miscarriage, but I would take a test. My period was 4 days, first day moderate with some clotting, bleeding near non existant days 2-4. Usually, I bleed for 7, super heavy the first and second day. I was late 6 days, and tested positive after the bleeding.

I'm sorry to hear this.  

I'm thinking of testing. I'm also havin major heart burn and that's something I've only had when pregnant.

Did your "period" seem thinner? More like water then blood?

I had this happen to me in August. I had my normal PMS symptoms leading up to my "period." When my period came it was almost like normal, a day shorter than usual and maybe a little lighter, but I totally thought it was my period. The last couple days of my period my boobs started hurting really bad again and I was really emotional. I thought it was some weird PMS symptoms that I was having. My husband talked me into taking a test and it was positive a week later and it was positive. Oh I took a test the day before my "period" and it was negative. I ended up having a MC within a day or two of getting the positive.

No, the first day was a decent flow of blood and some clots. Then just brown blood.
