induction

This is my second baby, and i'll be induced dec 19-26. We finalize the date wed. How was induction for you? im freaking myself out its only 4.5 weeks away =\
Im being induced for medical reasons. Im high risk.

Mine went fine.. "typical" induction had a baby roughy 6 hours after i got my first bit of pitocin

My first induction was cake. About 12hrs start to finish. I'm being induced with this baby in a week, hoping it goes just as smoothly.

Thats good! i just dont want a c section because of it =\ my body is cooperating well so far though. Im already 1cm at almost 33weeks

I hope not either. I know the rsisk is greater with induction, but have you had a vaginal birth before?

I went in for an induction and nothing worked after 2 days of Cervidil and Pitocin so I had a c-section.

Oh yeah, laying on my back for two days hooked up to those monitors was not fun at all. I went in so excited and happy and by induction time I was totally opposite.

M sure! Where in cincinnati do you live? I just moved from cincy here to NM almost a year ago

I have 4 little ones and have been induced for multiple reasons, mostly Dr convenience, with all of them. The last 3 I only labored for 4 hours from first drip of pitocin to delivery of baby. They say being induced is more painful but I got an epidural with all of mine so I didn't feel anything

That would be my idea of a perfect birth lol

Mine was rough... I had pre-e. 26 hours after pitocin I had a csection due to fetal distress. The epidural I had planned on my entire pregnancy I was not eligible for, which I had no idea there was anyway they would ever deny me one. heh. I won't do it again if I don't have to

Yes, my son came on his own at 39 weeks,vaginally

I was induced with my second and it only lasted 36 minutes! I was already 5 cm when they started though. It was perfect and completely painless.
