re: induction

I was induced for pre-e at 40 weeks... it was looooong, 14 hours. And they were about to have to use forceps or other invasive methods but luckily I finally gave the last big push she needed to come out. You do hear a lot of horror stories about induction but the things that can go wrong are all very rare when you think how many people are induced. Good luck!

14 hours is not long.

I was in slow labour for 48 hours before that so it felt longer to me I guess :')

My first induction was a piece of cake! They started pitocin about 7:30 had no pain until they broke my water at 9:30 and had him at 11:21. My next 2 babies came on their own. Then they induced me with Addie and it was the longest labor I've ever had. I have short labors though. They started pitocin about 10ish, broke my water about 12-1. I didn't hurt until about 2 and had her at 3:48!

I really hope my induction goes like this! I am so nervous but I am 100% effaced and 3 cm dilated. He has until the 26th to come on his own. If not, I really really hope my induction goes as quickly as yours.

yeah i know delhi, i knew a few guys form delhi, i wish i could remember their names!

29 hours of labo very slow progression. I had her vagially but it was hard on us both. My son I went into labor on my own the day before my scheduled induction and ended up with a csection! So who knows lol
