Something is wrong with my leg

So, two days ago like out of no where I get this little pain on my left thigh.. I look to see a little red bump.. It kinda hurt like a little pimple.. By yesterday it grew and was painful even when not touched... Now by today the bump itself is protruding, looks like nothing but a big red bump, but it also has like a circle of skin around it that is red like it's irritated... It hurts.. The only thing that came to my mind was maybe an ingrown hair???? Which is why i'm trying not to freak out and run to my doctors but i'm a little concerened.. I rarely ever get ingrowns hairs like 2 or 3 in my life and when I have they were in my bikini area not on my thigh which is all really soft thin clear hairs... My camera is charging or i'd attach a pic... I know a little bit of TMI for some.. Sorry.. Help.. 

*edited to add* My OB and family practice doctors are on the other side of town.. I just moved over here and will not switch my OB and just haven't switched my family practioner yet.. So I'd be looking at like a 2 hour round trip drive to go there

is this what they looked like?

Sounds maybe like an ingrown hair or a spider bite.

I dont' know much about those?? I thought that at the tip it would look different if it was.. Idk.. Thanks though.. I'm clueless!

Gosh idk.. I think mine is bigger.. It's just one.. It looks like a pimple from hell with no head.. But different because of the big circle of red irritated skin.. God, it sounds so bad as I type it.. I almost feel stupid for not going to the doctors earlier today when they were open

It's probably a boil.


Try putting some hot compresses on it.

15 minutes at a time....twice an hour.

i get abcessed ((i hope thats how its spelled)) i get them sometimes really bad.. they start off small and sre sore!! the grow kinda fast.. and they can get BIG! right before i gotten prego i had one on my thigh/ lowwer butt.. i had to go to get drained. it looked like a soft ball hit me..
umm.. i had to us warm compresses.. and if it is one dont squezze it.. they can make you sick ((there like a pocket of infection))

preggo women can sometimes form a skin disease (but goes away after birth), and one 'pimple' can turn into this


does ur one pimple with irritated skin look like any of the above? if so, u need to go to ur doc immediately so she can give u meds!

PS its called PUPPP, so you can google it yourself and see if u have any of the symptoms.

Holy ****! No thank god that is not what I have nor does my one look like those.. The skin around it is red like irritated but the same texture as the rest of my skin... That looks like it's pretty rough skin... Yikes!
