Having a breakdown (vent)

DD kept me up all night last night and I had too much to do today to take a nap with her so I'm exhausted therefore emotional. Then I find out after planning to go back to school and finish my degree since before DD was born that my dad will be using my tuition money to take his new girlfriend to Disneyland! That made me ball my eyes out because the excitement of going back to school has been the only thing keeping me sane lately (I was on bedrest my whole pregnancy and am now a stay at home mom). Then my Dh gets home from a bad day of work and is too tired to help with the baby who is going through a growth spurt and just wants to eat all day. So here it is almost 2am and I'm sitting in the living room crying because the baby won't stop crying even though I just fed her, her diaper is clean, and she doesn't seem to have a tummy ache, while Dh is in our room sleeping! Did I mention I'm also in pain from the infection on my c section scar?!

I'm sorry your going through that. It sucks big time and some men just don't understand what it's like. My SO has never gotten up for my daughter. While he's sleeping I mean.

He used to but lately he just wants to play video games!

That sounds like a horrible day.

My csection ripped open and got infected, too.  
I'm sorry you're going through all that.. maybe write him a letter for him to read in the morning before he goes to work telling him how you feel right now..and that you just want a few hours of a break tomorrow?

i would go in there and start screaming and crying and just scream and when he wakes up going wtf just keep screaming and crying like not with words but like hard smurfing crys.. and then 15 mins of that smurf and kinda stop and be like now you know how i feel bitch..

and you dad is a smurfing jerk that is smurfed up..

i am so so sorry this is going on for you.

My husband didn't take care of our son at first but now I'm pregnant again I have told him that either he pulls his weight or leaves.
Be strong, tell your dad that his actions really upset you, tell your DH that he needs to share responsibility - you're still healing and need rest and then sleep  

How did your dad get your tuition money and what makes him think he had rights to it? That's smurfed up!

It's his money he has been saving for my first semester back because in order to get my grants back I have to pay for a semester because I had to drop my classes when I got put on bedrest.

That's smurfed up though if he was saving it for you then you should get it.
I don't understand people like that, his child should come first before a new girlfriend.

That totally sucks and I'd tell your dad to go to hell. I'd tell him pay back the money NOW or you will call the cops and have him arrested for stealing. What an smurf. I know what you are going through with DH because mine is like that too. I would get frustrated when my son wants to stay up all night that I do go in and yell at my husband. I usually yell at him if the baby is fine in his crib but he brings him in our bed with us and then pushes the baby off on me when he wont go to sleep with him. I yell "thanks A LOT smurf for waking the baby up" and I will rant and rave until he wakes up and then I give him a piece of my mind. He hasn't done it since and now when he wants to play video games I just go in and put my son on his lap and say I have to go to the bathroom and I will go in there and lock the door for a moment of peace. Then I don't tell him when I am out and I will go watch t.v. or go on the computer. It will get better

It's not stealing because it's his money.

Go wake the smurf up & tell him to help you! At least thats what I would do but I tend to be a little mean at times :-p

Like come on smurf your a dad now, bad day or not, you have a wife and 7 week old baby!
