HELP please !!

okay I am a little over 3 weeks PP I just noticed there was blood on my incision. I'm kind of worried should I go to the hospital or wait to call my doctor tomorrow?
I've never had this problem with my last c-section.

This happened to me at 2ish weeks PP with my last,
i ended up going to the urgent care (it was on the weekend) and they just cleaned it up, and put a patch over it til i could see my doc.

It wasn't infected, but i had overworked myself and it had torn a bit,
is it just blood or is there swelling/redness around it too?

There is some redness on it, which I have a yeast infection on it and it's always red from the yeast infection so idk if it's red from that or what.

Hmm, well, i dont want to give you any ill advice, but i'd probably just call first thing in the morning if i was you and just take it easy/go to bed for now.

I will be riding with my friend tomorrow, she has the same doctor as me. Do you think it'd be alright until then, I will still call in morning just in case.
I wouldn't think it'd hurt to wait until then, since it's already 1:30

Is it warm to the touch? Check your temp. Do you have a temp over 101?

I was told 1) redness 2) warm to touch 3) slight temp were all signs of infection

I had oozing out of my incision but it was mostly clear with just a tinge of blood. According to my doctor, that was normal because of water retention. I also had the edges of my incision bleed a little but it was very very little. I just took it easy, cleaned it with watered down peroxide and placed a gauze pad over it until I could talk to my doctor the next day. They had me go in to the office to check it but it was fine.

Oh i think you'll be good   If anything, you just overextended a bit and it opened & the doc'll just fix you up, just keep the area extra clear & dry til then   Good luck!

All of what you said, is what i waited hours 'n hours at the urgent care to have someone do for me, haha   Just to have the doc later on tell me all was well.

No it isn't warm to touch & no temp.

I'm overweight (working on that ugh ! lol) so my belly folds over the incision, so I can't see it that good. I got DH to take a pic of it. I see the blood it's not a WHOLE lot.

Oh, i'm like you, haha. Glad he's concerned at least!

I would wait till the morning to call then. If you start feeling weird or get a temp, then I'd go to the ER but I doubt you will need to. Infection is a serious thing but I wouldnt stress out about it right now. Just clean it up, keep it dry and call tomorrow.

I was close to a nervous breakdown when I started oozing out my incision but I decided it wasnt an emergency just yet. I remember passing more blood clots after a long time of not having any. They were golf ball sized again. I freaked out and called my doctor on the weekend. He was like "Dont panic. You are not bleeding to death. Its normal to start passing clots again"I'm usually a nervous nelly. I'm so done with urgent care though. I took DH there when he burned his hand on our lawn mower's engine. They charged us $55 just to tell us that there is nothing that can be done unless he gets pussy blisters.
