I'm not sure... I would ask a midwife though, not a doctor.

THIS! Almost NO doctors in America will do it. Midwives are much more likely.

The first one was just decided because I had horrible gallstones and my cervix wasn't in any condition to induce. I was 39 weeks. And very stupid. I regret it so much. My second was a repeat.

I mean it CAN happen but finding a doctor that would allow it is hard. But a midwife would be more helpful. I know someone who just had a home birth after two csections

I honestly don't think a single doctor would do it... This close to a last cesarean, and after two. Insurance companies are ruining it for women and doctors alike. Get ahold of the midwives in your area ASAP.

But I know of plenty of women who have had VBA2C, so it is certainly possible.

Yeah it is possible. It's just rare to find OB/GYNs who will do it. In WA it's hard to even find a hospital who will do a single vbac.

that is so sad   especially w/ all the misinformation out there. it is statistically safer having a VBAC than a repeat section, yet EVERYONE seems to think otherwise.

Right? It's frustrating, and really just discouraging.

My hospital here had a 37% csection rate in 09. It's 33% in 2012 so far. I blame it on one particular doctor here whom I've never met a patient that's delivered vaginally. He believes everyone should delivery in the OR. I can't stand him.

wow, that's sad. the rates here are lower I think, the local hospital is 26.1% but that's from 2008 so...

I have a homebirth midwife this time around, I do not want another section.
